Scott Shelley will now join the ranks of the PKR.com Team PKR Pro, now the first member of the team to hold a World Series of Poker title. North London’s 24-year-old poker sensation is a regular online and live poker player. He got his start at PKR about four years ago when he worked for their Customer Service department. He then went on to win a staff championship in 2009 and played in his first WSOP Europe £1,000 event, placing 75th. Fast forward one year, at the same event, he took down 582 players including Tom Dwan, Phil Ivey, and Phil Helmuth to win the event, cashing out with £133,857.
Shelley is a popular player at PKR and has many fans who enjoy supporting him when he goes heads up against fellow player, JP Kelly.
Shelley says, “The last two weeks have been life changing and joining Team PKR Pro has been the icing on the cake. It is a privilege and an honour to join the likes of the current team members and I can’t wait to start representing PKR at future events!”
His first live debut as a PKR.com Team PKR Pro player will be at the London Calling festival, presented by PKR.com. He will also join other PKR Team Pro members at the PKR Live V this November. “I’m looking forward to showing PKR and its community what I can do. I aim for some more big wins, and most importantly increasing my bracelet collection,” adds Shelley.

PKR.com will be honoring the new addition to the team throughout the week of October 18th with a Shelley-themed week. Players will have the opportunity to win a $1,200 package for the PKR Live V, buy-ins to London Calling, and entry into $500 heads-up tourneys.
