PokerStars is already getting geared up for their 7th annual PokerStars Caribbean Adventure (PCA) tournament/poker fest that will take place in January 2011. This event is a welcomed break for most poker players’ cold winter residence of North America and Europe.
The 2011 installment of the PCA will see an event especially for the ladies—the PokerStars Women’s Caribbean Adventure, which will take place in the Bahamas at the Atlantis Resort amid the rest of the festivities. The ladies’ event will feature an $1100 buy-in and will run from January 14th through 15th. Last year’s ladies only event was won by Team PokerStars Pro Vanessa Rousso, who took nearly $25K of the $88K prize pool and beat out a field of 91 other ladies.
The 2011 event promises to be bigger and better than last year and has already confirmed such celebrity poker pros as Rousso, Liv Boeree, Vicky Coren, and Vanessa Selbst. Also, Rousso will host a Boot Camp the night before the tournament.
Female poker players can qualify now for the event via satellites at PokerStars. Buy-ins start from $2 or 500 FPPs. Winners will receive a package that includes the $1100 buy-in, entry into the Boot Camp, VIP entry into PCA events and parties, four nights stay, and a PCA goody bag.
Not only will qualifiers get all of the aforementioned privileges, they will also be able to enjoy a piece of paradise including all of the amenities of Atlantis including spa, shopping, restaurants, bars, a massive aquarium, and more in Paradise Island. Not to mention the crystal blue waters of the Caribbean Sea.
You can also qualify for other PCA events now at PokerStars.
