Recent upgrades to the Full Tilt online poker software have added two new features at Full Tilt including the “Run It Twice” option and “Cashout Tournaments.”
Run It Twice allows you to play a good hand over again, should it not work out the first time. By pre-selecting this option when playing cash games at Full Tilt Poker, you’ll afford yourself the insurance to re-deal all five of the community cards. There is a price to pay for this feature, though, as it does re-rake the hand, and should you win the second hand, you’ll win the cash; however, if you lose again, you simply lose the rake, again.
Run It Twice is currently being tested on Run It Twice tables in “Ivey’s Room” with more of these tables opening up in the future. While this new feature is receiving accolades from the rail, there has been some controversy in terms of the double rake loss.
The Cashout Tournaments, a new poker tournament format, allows a portion of the prize pool to be cashed out at any point before the final table. These special tournaments will collect half of the buy-in for the guaranteed prize pool; the other half will go into the cashout pool. Whenever you feel like cashing out, you may do so and receive anywhere from 10 to 100% of your stack from the cashout pool for a guaranteed pay out.
Each time a player cashes out, the cashout pool is directly hit; however, any remaining money left in the side pool, by the time the final table is established and cashing out is no longer allowed, will go to the finalists in terms of the current value of their chip stacks.
You can find Cashout Tournaments in the main lobby. Just look for the green “c” icon.
New players are currently getting a free 100% poker bonus up to $600 when using the Full Tilt Poker referral code TILTME600.
