Full Tilt Poker is aiming to break a new official Guinness World Record this Sunday 17th July, by having the largest Online Poker Tournament. In fact, they are hoping to get more than 35,000 players this Sunday onto their online network in order to break the record at the moment. This Record Breaker tournament will be set this Sunday at 3:05 Eastern time during the FIVE promotion finale. The “FIVE” promotion is currently going on at the online poker room and it is held as a celebration for the five years operation for this online poker room.
All the Team Full Tilt members are expected to play in this tournament finale, also to include the online players. Everyone is set to try and break this world record while having a go and playing against some of the best pros in the poker industry.
The interested players who want to compete in the Record Breaker tournament can enrol by paying just $5 or 1000 full tilt points. The final prize pool consists of $250k guaranteed with $250k added to the prize pool. All players can also compete in satellites in order to earn a seat at the tournament. The Satellites begin at just thirty cents or fifty Full Tilt points.
Poker pro, Howard Lederer commented: “By extending the limits of what is possible in online poker tournaments, Full Tilt Poker will allow players to compete for a big payout without the big buy-in.” The current record is held by PokerStars with a full 35,000 online players who were set on December 28th 2008.
