The Full Tilt Online Poker Series, otherwise known as FTOPS, is officially in it 14th run, as Full Tilt Poker has announced the schedule for FTOPS XIV, which will begin on November 4th through November 15th. The first event will be a $216 buy-in six-handed NL Hold ‘em event featuring a $1 million guaranteed. The Main Event will conclude the series on Sunday, November 15th. In between will be an array of game choices and buy-in prices with a lot of guaranteed money to be paid out.
Meanwhile, though, you can already participate in satellite events that are currently running to ensure your seat in the event. New to this season is the FTOPS Warm Up, a satellite tourney to the Main Event that would otherwise cost players $535 to buy into. Buy-in for the Warm Up will only cost you $5.50. Super Satellites are another cheaper alternative, starting at only $0.50 or 50 Full Tilt Points.
August’s FTOPS XIII awarded $453,000+ to the first place winner, “Poligraph.” The upcoming series will promise a $2.5 million guaranteed prize pool for the Main Event and a $16 million guaranteed prize pool for all events together, so there will be some more hefty cash outs this time around, as well. Also in August, player James “bob2bob” Page won the Player of the Series award after his two weeks in the competition warranted him three final table spots. The top leaderboard winner this time will win his very own custom avatar and a prize package that will include an FTOPS XV event buy-in.
For those players who find the FTOPS a little too pricey for their tastes, Full Tilt has incorporated Mini-FTOPS which parallels all FTOPS events, just with smaller buy-ins, and will run this season from December 9th through December 20th.
