Instant eChecks has definitely become one of the most popular ways nowadays to deposit money to the online poker sites inside the United States. However, this method has taken a bad beating across all major online poker sites, still by an unknown cause that has affected all sites that use eCheck poker deposit options.
PokerStars was the first online site to get affected with the downed eChecks. When trying to deposit at PokerStars their players were confronted with an error message stating eChecks are currently unavailable. We apologise for this inconvenience’.
After PokerStars acknowledged this problem, the same problems were encountered at Full Tilt Poker when trying to place a deposit there. It has also been reported that even UltimateBet, Doyles Room and Absolute Poker are now experiencing the same widespread problem.
The customer and I.T Support have been putting all their efforts to put the players at ease, keeping them happy and reassuring them that they are working on a solution to this problem. Unfortunately, when situations like this occurred in the past, the solution could take up to hours or days before it can even be implemented again in the system.
The history of the eChecks goes back to when the UIGEA passed this deposit option and then it became unavailable after a while. It was only available after many months and even then it was on a limited basis. When it suffered brief problems, they never reached nationwide level.
When it returned back in action, it geared up and became the easiest and most convenient way for the standard players to play real money poker.
At the moment we don’t have any additional information regarding this but as soon as we do we will keep you updated. For players from the US looking for a poker room where they can make a deposit right now we recommend Sportsbook Poker or Players Only Poker where you can make a deposit using your credit card.
