Bovada
has announced their biggest
guaranteed poker tournament
ever. They will be holding
a huge $250,000 guaranteed
prize pool tournament on
August 10th at 4pm (ET).
The $250k guaranteed prize
pool means that no matter
how many players enter the
tournament they will make
sure the prize pool is $250,000
or more. The first place
finisher will walk away
with a minimum of $55,000.
Players can get a seat in
the tournament two different
ways – qualifiers
and direct buy-in. Bovada
Poker will be running
over 200 tournaments ranging
from Bovada point buy-ins
to $55 buy-ins that will
act as qualifiers to the
$250k. Each qualifier will
give away a certain amount
of seats to the $250k depending
on how many people enter.
Players also have a choice
of buying in to the $250,000
guaranteed tournament directly
for a price of $250 + $20.
Bovada has broken up the
qualifying tournaments into
three categories – cheap
seats, qualifiers and semifinals.
The cheap seats tournament
is a $1.50 buy-in tournament
that is held three times
a day, seven days a week.
One player for every $29
in the prize pool will win
an entry into any $250k
semifinal that has a $29
buy-in.
There are five different
tournaments under the qualifiers
category. These tournaments
range from a 100 Bovada point
buy-in to an $8 turbo, rebuy
tourney. The five tournaments
are held once or twice a
day each. Players that place
top in these tournaments
are entered into the semifinal
qualifiers tournaments.
There are six different
semifinal tournaments being
held daily. These tournaments
range from a 1000 Bovada
point buy-in to a $58 semifinal
tournament. Top finishers
will receive a seat worth
$270 into the exciting $250k
guaranteed tournament on
August 10th.
