Perhaps one of the most well-developed and rewarding loyalty programs of any online poker room is the Iron Man Challenge at FullTilt Poker. This system rewards the players with stamina and a true drive to play poker.
First of all, the FullTilt Points status tier is based on the amount of points a player earns per day, over the course on any one month. The contest begins on the first of the month and ends on the last day of the month. There are four levels: Bronze, Silver, Gold, and IRON MAN. If you can rack up 100 points per day for the first 15 days, you become Bronze; 200 points, you become Silver. If you collect 200 points every day for the first 20 days of the month, you become Gold, but that’s not all. If you can earn 200+ points every day for 25 days, you will earn the title of FullTilt Iron Man.
A good place to start is to play in the One-a-Day Freeroll where you will earn one point every day, just for playing in the tournament. If you make it to the table every day for one month, you will qualify for the exclusive $2000 Special Freeroll. You can track your Iron Man status by clicking “My Promotions” in the Cashier box, and then selecting the “Iron Man Challenge” link.
Iron Man Medals
There are a lot of different ways that this system rewards players. First off, you can redeem Iron Man Medals at the Iron Man Challenge Store for tourney tokens, cash, a chance to make your own table, and other goodies. You will earn medals monthly, based on your point accumulation. For example, Bronze members will earn 25 Iron Man Medals for that month, increasing as status increases, culminating at 100 medals for players reaching Iron status that month. If you maintain any status level for more than one month, these values increase. You can earn up to 300 medals per month (for a 13+ month stay at the Iron level), but this is the max for status level, which doesn’t include other bonus medals.
Iron Man Bonuses
#1: Bonus Freerolls – Play in one of the four monthly freerolls. Win one of these and you’ll be competing against the other three winners for that month in the 4-player shootout (a $5,000 bonus the winner on top of the original freeroll cash prize). This winner will then be seated at three consecutive heads-up games against three different FullTilt Poker pros to win up to $100K.
#2: Bonus Medals – Tournament entries you win for achieving status can be redeemed for more Iron Man Medals (e.g. a Gold Freeroll ticket won in your fifth month can be exchanged for 70 medals).
#3: Iron Man Plus – If you win 500+ points per day, you qualify for the Iron Man Plus. For instance, you can win up to 10 extra medals per day for earning 2000 FullTilt Points in one day, and 10 more for every additional 1000 points you earn.

The Iron Man Challenge is not for everyone. It takes dedication and lots of time. You have to love playing poker and you have to play every day. Well, maybe it’s not that hard—but this challenge is not for the meek. Not all poker players have what it takes.
