An
eCheck also known as Instant
Checks is one of the newest
methods for online poker players
to deposit and withdrawal
to and from their player accounts.
This is probably one of the
easiest and most convenient
methods we have come across
simply because it’s
instant, meaning your funds
are immediately available
to play with and there are
no fees associated with this
option. eChecks are available
to USA and Canadian players.
Currently the only poker room
supporting eChecks is BetOnline.
 |
Bet Online accepts eChecks from Americans, Canadians and European players with a minimum deposit of $50 up to $1500. Players are limited to one echeck for every seven business days unless approved by your account manager. All players depositing using an instant check will receive a 25% instant bonus on their first deposit.

What is an eCheck?
An eCheck is an electronic
check, allowing you to deposit
safely to your poker account.
The check is processed through
electronic funds transfer
from your checking account
and is completely safe to
use. They work just like a
paper check does in that you
fill in the details of the
amount of the transaction,
the poker room sends the information
to the banks for processing
and in 2 – 5
days the amount will be debited from your bank account.
When choosing this payment
option for the first time
you will need to provide the
poker room with certain details
to set up the payment. Information
needed to process an eCheck
include bank name, transit
number, routing number and
one piece of identification
such as drivers license, social
security number, social insurance
number or passport ID. The
ID request is to protect your
account from being used from
anyone else for this type
of payment since you are the
only person who would have
access to this information
and it also adds security
to the poker room since they
will essentially be providing
you with cash up front. Once
this is complete your account
is ready to be used with instant
checks.
When using the account for
the first time you will be
limited to two transactions
within a 48 hours time frame
allowing your checks to clear
your bank first. Once you
have had a few checks clear
without any problems these
restrictions will be lifted.
Players should also note that
while a payment is pending,
meaning your check has not
cleared; you will not be able
to request any withdrawals
unless the amount of the withdrawal
is more than the amount of
the pending payment. If the
amount is more than the pending
eCheck the poker room will
process the difference between
the two amounts.
Requesting a withdrawal using
eChecks
Withdrawals will be processed
back to your bank account
once the eCheck has cleared.
This can take up to 10 business
days between the time your
bank processes the check and
the time the poker room receives
notification of the funds
clearing. If there are no
pending checks, the payment
will be deposited into your
bank account within 2-5 days.
Most poker rooms allow only
one eCheck withdrawal every
72 hours. |
