hosts a $100,000 guaranteed tournament with a buy-in of $162. On the last Sunday of the month the
guaranteed amount increases to $250K and the buy-in jumps to $268.
Players Only Poker’s sit and go tournaments aren’t as active as the multi-table tourneys, but
the sit and go’s under $30 usually fill up pretty consistently. There are also many double or nothing and
heads-up tournaments that have buy-ins reaching $150.
Competition
The competition at Players Only Poker is slightly below average relative to the bigger online poker rooms
such as Full Tilt Poker. This is due to the fact that the Cake Poker network was built by offering a lot
of freeroll tournaments to their early players. The competition has improved since the early days of the
network, but there are still a lot of very loose players at the tables. If you implement a tight aggressive
style you should be able to make a profit at the lower stake tables at Players Only Poker.
