Justin Bonomo | Bovada Poker Pro

Justin Bonomo, a.k.a. ZeeJustin, born in 1985, has accomplished a lot in life very quickly. He started playing online poker at the age of 16 and had won hundreds of thousands of dollars by the time he was legal at 21. He was actually banned from two of the big online poker rooms for multi-accounting tournaments, not for playing underage. Bonomo is not that same kid anymore, though, as he has proved himself worthy over and over in multiple big-money live tournaments.

Born in Virginia, but now living in Vegas, this Team Bovada Pro takes a concentrated and analytical approach to playing poker and is an obsessive opponent-reader. His never-ending poker studies of hand histories and the playing styles of his opponents are what works for him. At just 19 years old, he placed 4th in the in the 2005 French Open, as the youngest player at a televised table. Since then, he has swept Vegas, playing in several big tournaments and making it to the final table, five of these being at the WPT Bellagio Five Diamond in 2006 and 2007. Like many other poker players, Bonomo learned strategy playing a collectible card game, “Magic: The Gathering,” which he began playing at the age of nine. By 12, he was touring the world, playing in the top Magic tournaments with prize pools worth up to $250,000.

He continued winning tournaments and finally made it to the 2007 WSOP, where he took 4th place in a $2000 no-limit event and 2nd place in the $3000 HORSE WSOP Circuit. That same year, he won 7th place in the WPT Doyle Brunson North American Poker Classic. He was able to hold a POY ranking of 137th place in both 2006 and 2007 before jumping up to 31st in 2008. His lifetime total winnings total more than $1.5 million and he’s only 23 years old!

Recently, he placed 2nd in the 2008 WSOP $5000 Mixed Hold ‘em event, and he plays pretty regularly at Bovada Poker. He often takes the seat of weekly pro, as he goes heads up against lucky players who win the set against him. He also has his own website,, where you can read his blog, watch interviews, view pics of him, and join his fan club.
