Recently a new software update was released at William Hill Poker. New functions and tools have been added in order to enhance the experience of online poker for WH players. You will notice one change immediately, as the tables have been visually redesigned, and players now have the ability to resize, tile, and cascade multi tables. Also introduced is the innovative ability to play on multi monitors.
New features now make playing at William Hill less stressful with such options as a flashing avatar that indicates a player’s turn, new backgrounds, shading, and border options, and other unique features. A time bank now visually counts down and a player’s avatar turns blue when time limit approaches, and the avatar also turns blue once a player has acted. In addition, a dealer’s area has been introduced with chip tray situated at the top of the table. On cash games, the chip area is a clickable “GET MORE” chips link. In tournaments, you’ll see a “Re-Buy” button here.
The size of tables can also be increased or decreased now with a small setting that allows for multi tabling and a full-screen size as well. Spotlight now illuminates a player who is in turn to act, and the player’s chat has also been enhanced. Chat function has improved and a side tool bar allows quick access to player notes, chat commentary, hand history, stats, and settings.
You’ll also find that the pot area looks different with a tooltip display that shows pot and rake amounts. In addition, the waiting list is now two buttons: “Join waiting list” and “Join similar table.” Other changes include a relocation of the myself timer, a change in folded cards imagery, and nametag enhancement that improves table clutter.
William Hill Poker has underwent a major software upgrade, and it is likely that other online poker rooms will follow in their footsteps, as technology changes and players demand that their online poker platforms change with it.
