While online poker legislature has yet to be passed in the US, the commercial casino industry in the US is fed up with the feds and is now pushing federal lawmakers to introduce new law proposals to regulate the online poker industry that is currently estimated to be worth upwards toward $6 billion.

Well, the WCOOP has come and gone once again, but it’s been a memorable series, especially for Canadian online and live poker pro, Daniel Negreanu. Poster boy for PokerStars, Negreanu has successfully cashed 15 times at this year’s WCOOP, earning him just under $120K for the entire series.

The World Championship of Online Poker, hosted by PokerStars is eight days in and has seen a lot of action from European players. With the US online poker market out of the picture, there a majority of the players have been from Russia, the UK, and other European countries.
