Team PokerStars got bigger when 2011 WSOP Main Event Champion Pius Heinz joined the team. From Germany and the only German to ever win the WSOP championship title, Heinz joins other WSOP former champs Chris Moneymaker, Joe Cada, and Jonathan Duhamel.

Groupe Bernard Tapie CEO Laurent Tapie has announced the Full Tilt Poker take over deal will sooner than later be confirmed. The deal is still pending based on US Department of Justice proceedings, but once Full Tilt shareholders approve acquisition deal terms, the deal will authenticated, though decisions regarding confiscated player funds are still not ironed out.
